Eric Amundsen counsels clients on strategic patent portfolio development, clearance studies, and patent validity and infringement opinions. With over 20 years of experience in the patent field, he works with a wide variety of technologies, including protective equipment, sporting goods, medical devices, consumer products, furniture and software.
Eric represents clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, and has extensive experience with design patents. He is known for working closely with clients to ensure that each client understands their intellectual property portfolio.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Eric worked as a mechanical and environmental engineer for GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., where he designed and implemented remediation strategies. He also served as a technical specialist for the Environmental Management Unit of the Massachusetts Port Authority.
Eric’s graduate work was in the area of computer-aided design, including its application to distributed design processes and technology policy analysis.
Eric was named to the 2015 list of Massachusetts Rising Stars by Super Lawyers.
