We are pleased to spotlight Katie Canducci this month! Katie is our Reception and Conference Services Assistant and works in our Boston office.
How long have you been at Wolf Greenfield?
This month makes nine months.
How has being authentic helped you in your career?
Being authentic and true to yourself is one of the most important qualities a person can have in my opinion. To be genuine with yourself translates to everything you do. For me, embracing my authenticity and openly acknowledging who I am, especially as a member of the LGBTQ+ community has brought a newfound confidence and comfort within myself. This self-acceptance has allowed me to evolve in my professional endeavors.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
Being able to make a positive impact and support others within the office. While Reception and Conference Services is a role that interacts with a lot of people on a daily basis, nine months in and I am still constantly meeting new faces while putting together meetings and events.
What has been your favorite project/assignment at Wolf Greenfield?
While it is hard to choose just one, my favorite projects may be collaborating with Megan Phillips to put together the Wind Downs for everyone to enjoy.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I have a 14 year-old female orange cat named Zuzu who has the energy of a kitten especially around bed time.
Why is diversity and inclusion important to you?
Diversity and inclusion serves as a catalyst for collaboration among those with varied backgrounds and perspectives, especially in the workplace. Without diversity, everyone would approach situations with identical perspectives, not allowing for as much innovation, growth of knowledge, or self-worth. A lack of diversity would make for a very dull world.
