Wolf Greenfield Promotes Three Attorneys to Shareholder in 2020

Wolf Greenfield is pleased to announce the promotion of  Bryan S. Conley, Elisabeth H. Hunt PhD and Zachary P. Piccolomini to the position of shareholder, effective January 1, 2020. The promoted attorneys’ legal and technical know-how covers a range of practice areas, including litigation, patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings.

Bryan Conley is an experienced litigator, focusing his practice on intellectual property matters at the agency, trial and appellate levels. He regularly represents high profile technology clients at trial concerning their most challenging patent matters. Bryan’s practice encompasses all facets of litigation strategy and procedure, including pre-suit investigation, fact and expert discovery, trial, and appeal. He also represents clients in post-grant proceedings, including ensuring that such proceedings align with overall litigation strategy. Bryan has experience with jury and bench trials in state courts, Federal Courts, Section 337 matters before the US International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He aims to make technologically and legally complicated intellectual property cases understandable for juries and judges.

Elisabeth Hunt is one of Wolf Greenfield’s first-chair PTAB practitioners in the firm’s Post-Grant Proceedings Practice, with a dedicated practice of successfully challenging and defending patents in inter partes review (IPR), post-grant review (PGR) and ex parte reexamination. Elisabeth holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSE from Princeton University in electrical engineering and computer science, and has deep technical experience in areas including signal processing, speech technology, language understanding and machine learning. Elisabeth has been recognized as a Rising Star by Managing IP and by Super Lawyers, and is an integral part of Wolf Greenfield being ranked among the most active firms and in the top 1% for overall win rate at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Zachary Piccolomini counsels clients in a wide variety of intellectual property (IP) matters, including patent and trademark portfolio development, IP due diligence, post-grant proceedings, IP litigation and related issues. He represents clients in the computer hardware, computer software and mechanical device fields that range in size from startup companies to large international corporations. Practicing for over a decade, Zachary tailors his counseling according to the particular situations and needs of each client. He has significant experience with various post-grant proceedings, including inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, reissue proceedings, and ex parte and inter partes reexamination proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and related appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Additionally, Zachary’s experience with intellectual property litigation spans across pre-suit investigation to pleadings, depositions, motion practice, trials and appeals.
