Heather DiPietrantonio Recognized Among “Top Women of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
We are pleased to announce that Heather DiPietrantonio, a shareholder in Wolf Greenfield’s Biotechnology Practice, has been recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly among the 2023 Top Women of Law. Each year, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly celebrates the achievements of exceptional women lawyers who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers, and role models. Heather was honored at the Top Women of Law event on November 1, 2023.
Heather’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, due diligence, licensing, and opinion work in the life sciences space. She counsels a variety of clients, including start-ups, small to mid-sized biotech companies, and non-profit research institutions. She is particularly experienced in strategic counseling on development and life cycle management of US and international intellectual property rights relating to gene editing, gene therapy, adoptive cell therapy, nucleic acid vaccines, and transgenic mouse models.
Heather has also been an advocate for promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry, encouraging the participation of women in STEM fields, and championing women leaders in life sciences.
Heather chairs Wolf Greenfield’s Hiring Committee, is part of the Risk Management Committee, and oversees training for junior members as part of the Biotechnology Practice’s Business Development Subcommittee.
Earlier this year, Heather was selected as a finalist in the “Patent Strategy Attorney of the Year – Massachusetts” category at the LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards 2023. In addition, she’s ranked by IAM Patent 1000, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Patexia.
