Richard J. Anderson Joins Wolf Greenfield as Chief Operating Officer
Wolf Greenfield is pleased to announce that Richard J. Anderson has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, Rick clerked for the Federal Circuit and began practicing IP law. He co-founded the Minneapolis office of Fish & Richardson, P.C., and led the patent practice across all offices. After a decade in that role, Rick became the COO at Fish, taking on global responsibility for all firm business services functions, including oversight of the firm’s financial management. He was a Sloan Fellow and graduated with distinction with a Master of Science in Leadership and Strategy from the London Business School.
As COO of Wolf Greenfield, Rick will work closely with firm management to guide Wolf Greenfield’s business functions, building on the decades of growth led by Executive Director Bob Edwards. Known for his innovative approach to strategic operations management, Rick will oversee the areas of finance, legal services, operations, information technology, human resources, legal recruiting and professional development, and business development.
