Wolf Greenfield Attorneys Named to Boston Magazine’s 2024 Top Lawyers List
Two Wolf Greenfield attorneys have been named to Boston magazine’s 2024 Top Lawyers list in the category of Intellectual Property Rights. Now in its fourth year, the guide includes a curated list of the top attorneys spanning a wide range of practice areas. The attorneys included are Jonathan Roses, a shareholder in Wolf Greenfield’s Pharmaceutical Practice, and Anant Saraswat, counsel in Wolf Greenfield’s Post-Grant Proceedings Practice.
Jonathan manages large US and international patent portfolios, advises clients on IP strategy, including regulatory matters related to small molecule and biologic drugs and medical devices, and represents life sciences companies in contested matters, such as post-grant and federal district court proceedings. He has a proven track record of building client relationships, teaching and mentoring junior attorneys, and providing top-notch service and results. Jonathan counsels an array of clients, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies focused on the areas of small molecule pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical formulations, organic chemistry, medical devices, diagnostic methods and devices, and surgical methods. He is highly skilled in conducting and managing domestic and foreign patent prosecution and pre-litigation investigations, including worldwide freedom-to-operate, patentability, and exclusivity analyses. Jonathan is active in the Boston Intellectual Property Law Association (BIPLA) and is ranked by Super Lawyers.
Anant represents companies in the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), federal court, and the International Trade Commission (ITC) in intellectual property cases involving technologies such as cloud computing, computer architecture, wireless communications, semiconductor fabrication, light emitting diodes, medical devices, and automotive components. Anant has experience with numerous aspects of intellectual property litigation including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, Markman briefing and argument, preparing witnesses for trial, and writing appeal briefs. Anant also has experience drafting inter partes review petitions for submission to the United States Patent Office. In addition, Anant maintains an active pro bono practice. He is on the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston’s executive committee and is ranked by Best Lawyers, Patexia, and Super Lawyers.
To compile the list, Boston magazine, in partnership with DataJoe Research, invited lawyers from Greater Boston to nominate up to three of their peers in a select number of specialties. Lawyers were required to provide a valid Massachusetts Bar number to participate. The top vote-getters in each specialty were then reviewed by an advisory board of select lawyers, chosen for their credentials and the high number of votes they received. Learn more.
