Overview

Johanna Crimins assists the firm in biotechnology patent prosecution. She supports clients ranging from major corporations to universities in technology areas including antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, peptides, viral vectors, and biologics formulations.

With extensive experience as a patent agent, Johanna’s work includes drafting and prosecuting complex US and international patent applications, managing global patent portfolios, conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supporting IP due diligence for licensing, collaboration, and acquisition transactions. Johanna is also a co-inventor on an international PCT patent application relating to AAV-based delivery of therapeutic antibodies and antibody fragments for the prevention and treatment of disease.

Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Johanna was a patent agent at an Am Law 100 firm.

Johanna holds a PhD in Anatomy and Neurobiology from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed postdoctoral research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Yale School of Medicine, where her work focused on neural circuits underlying higher cognitive function, working memory, aging, and cognitive decline.
