Hanrong (Belle) Ye, PhD

Hanrong (Belle) Ye assists the firm in patent prosecution and counseling in the biotechnology area. With a background in drug delivery, molecular biology, and cell therapy applications for oncology and immunology, Belle draws on both her research and her technology commercialization experience when working with clients.
Belle earned her PhD in biomedical engineering at Boston University, where she developed macrophage- and T cell-based immunotherapies for oncology, immunology, and infectious diseases by designing and optimizing synthetic gene circuits and polymer-lipid nanoparticle delivery vehicles.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Belle worked as a visiting fellow at Harvard SEAS on developing and optimizing inducible gene regulation toolkits for mammalian cells.
Alongside her doctoral research, Belle was an analyst in Boston University’s Office of Technology Development. Belle has experience reviewing biomedical inventions, evaluating patentability and conducting market research to assess the competitive landscape.
