Maria R. Crusey

Maria Crusey assists the firm in litigation matters before federal district courts. Her experience includes conducting legal research and drafting civil litigation documents.
Prior to joining the firm full time, Maria was a summer associate in Wolf Greenfield’s Litigation Practice. While in law school, Maria served as Associate Managing Editor of the Washington University Law Review and as a pro bono student attorney in the Washington University First Amendment Clinic, where she assisted with the clinic’s civil litigation efforts. She was also previously a summer judicial intern for Judge Ann M. Donnelly of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and a legal extern for Authors Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization advancing the legal interests of authors in the age of artificial intelligence. Her legal scholarship has been published by the Washington University Law Review and the Journal of the Copyright Society.
Interests
Maria is a classically trained cellist and received a second undergraduate major in music. She most recently served as assistant principal cellist of the St. Louis Civic Orchestra and now enjoys performing in local orchestral and chamber ensembles and engaging with Boston’s rich musical community.
