
Laney Flanagan
Overview
Laney Flanagan’s practice focuses on trademark and unfair competition issues, such as domestic and foreign trademark prosecution, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings, trademark investigation and enforcement, and federal litigation. Laney likewise has experience with copyright matters, including licensing agreements and contested matters.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield full time, Laney was a summer associate at the firm. During law school, she served as a judicial intern in the United States District Courts for the Western District of North Carolina and the Eastern District of Virginia. As an intern, she assisted in drafting orders and memorandum opinions related to various trademark, copyright, and patent matters.
Laney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she received a certificate in intellectual property law with distinction. Prior to law school, Laney was a patent paralegal at a Washington, DC law firm, where she assisted with patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings.
