John C. Hovestadt
Overview
John Hovestadt focuses on patent prosecution and counseling in the mechanical space. He has extensive experience in materials, plastics, and aerospace technologies.
John previously served as an engineering assistant at a plastics company, where he developed custom parts to be used in applications and identified and corrected out of tolerance manufactured parts. John’s experience also includes testing the tensile, flexural, and dielectric strengths of various materials undergoing long-term thermal aging as well as performing various flame tests on materials to determine safety ratings.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield full time, John was a summer associate at the firm. John was also a member of the Boston University Technology Law Clinic, which provides legal aid to students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston University in the various technology law fields.
