Overview

Shangxing (Simon) Lu focuses his practice on post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He represents both patent owners and petitioners in inter partes review (IPR), post-grant review (PGR), and patent reexamination proceedings.

In addition to his PTAB practice, Simon regularly supports clients in other areas, including patent litigation, IP transactions, and strategic IP portfolio development across multiple industries, such as telecommunication, machine learning, gaming, software, blockchain, and medical devices. He has extensive experience representing international clients in high-stakes, cross-border intellectual property disputes before US district courts and the International Trade Commission (ITC).

Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Simon was a senior associate in the patent group at an Am Law 50 firm.
