Ben Walsh assists the firm in patent prosecution related to mechanical technologies. He has extensive knowledge in the areas of chemical and mechanical engineering. His intellectual property experience includes assisting with patent application drafting, prior art search, and office action responses.
Before joining Wolf Greenfield full time, Ben was a summer associate in the firm’s Mechanical Technologies Practice. Prior to this, he was a field engineer and technical supervisor at Hitachi, where he supported Hitachi’s Commuter Rail Positive Train Control (PTC) system for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). In this role, Ben inspected installed Hitachi devices and constructed AutoCAD drawings of gathered field data measurements and processed them into proposed electronic components.
