Greg Corbett Finalist for Litigator of the Year – Massachusetts at 2026 Managing IP Awards

Greg Corbett, chair of Wolf Greenfield’s Litigation Practice, has been selected as a finalist in the “Litigator of the Year – Massachusetts” category at the 2026 Managing IP Americas Awards. Greg is one of only six attorneys recognized in this category.

Greg has over 25 years of experience, including as lead litigation counsel representing clients in all stages of complex intellectual property and patent litigation, post-grant proceedings, appellate proceedings, licensing, and client counseling. A first-chair litigator with extensive experience litigating in multiple jurisdictions, Greg represents clients in cases involving a wide range of technologies, and in particular, his practice has focused on electronics, computer systems, software, smartphone, semiconductor and semiconductor manufacturing technology, microcontrollers, and internet technology. He also has extensive experience involving chemical products and processes, as well as pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical device matters.

Greg has been to trial many times, including as lead counsel in six recent trials before the International Trade Commission (ITC) in multi-patent cases involving computer system and semiconductor technologies, a successful jury trial in the District of Delaware, and successful trials in the Eastern District of Virginia and the Northern District of California.

Greg has also been actively involved in multiple inter partes review (IPR) and other post-grant proceedings before the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). In addition, he has extensive appellate experience, including as lead appellate counsel, and has handled more than 15 appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the US Supreme Court.

Greg is consistently recognized for excellence in intellectual property litigation. In addition to recognition by Managing IP, he is ranked by Chambers and Partners, IAM Patent 1000, World Intellectual Property Review, Patexia, and Super Lawyers.

The Managing IP Awards program recognizes outstanding intellectual property achievements in the last year. Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in New York City on April 9, 2026.
