Hunter Baker Finalist for Patent Prosecutor of the Year – Northeast at 2026 Managing IP Awards
Hunter Baker, chair of Wolf Greenfield’s Pharmaceutical Practice, has been selected as a finalist in the “Patent Prosecutor of the Year – Northeast” category at the 2026 Managing IP Americas Awards. Hunter is one of only seven attorneys recognized in this category.
With more than 20 years of experience counseling life sciences clients, Hunter advises on matters involving pharmaceuticals, biologics, polymers, chemistry, and materials. His practice includes patent prosecution, patentability searches, freedom-to-operate analyses, opinion letters, IP diligence, and licensing.
Hunter works closely with clients ranging from academic institutions and start-ups to large pharmaceutical companies. He also works with clients in the financial industry in evaluating the IP involved in their investments.
Hunter completed his medical training at Harvard Medical School, where he was an MD-PhD student in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. He earned a PhD and MA in Chemistry from Harvard University and a BS in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
