Wolf Greenfield Moves to Larger Washington, DC Office

Wolf Greenfield is pleased to announce that its Washington, DC office has moved to a new location at 901 New York Avenue NW. The move comes as the lease on the firm’s current Washington, DC space nears its end. The new office is nearly double the size, growing from 6,090 to 12,033 square feet.

“Our Washington, DC office has grown steadily since we opened it in 2023, and this new space is built for where the team is headed next,” said Rob Walat, Wolf Greenfield’s president and managing partner. “With clients across the globe, DC is a natural place to bring people together, and this office gives our attorneys the room they need to collaborate and gives our clients a space that matches the level of service they expect from us.”

The new office was designed and built to support work across the firm’s practice groups. It includes six meeting rooms, a dedicated wellness room, and a café area. A large lobby welcomes employees and guests. The additional space will also benefit the firm’s contested matter team, who regularly work from Washington, DC to represent clients before the US International Trade Commission (ITC), the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). 

“Our litigation team spends a great deal of time in DC, and this new office gives us the space to do that work well. The additional meeting rooms alone will make a real difference for how we prepare for hearings and meet with clients while we’re in the city,” said Libbie DiMarco, co-chair of the firm’s Washington, DC office. 

“Growing to nearly triple our original team size since we opened in 2023 says a lot about this office’s trajectory. The new space, down to details like the wellness room and café, reflects that this is a place people build their careers, not just pass through,” said Dan Young, co-chair of the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Wolf Greenfield’s Washington, DC office opened in March 2023 and is co-chaired by Libbie DiMarco, a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Practice, and Dan Young, a shareholder in the firm’s Biotechnology Practice. The office is now home to 30 attorneys and staff, and offers a full range of intellectual property services, including litigation, prosecution, post-grant proceedings, freedom to operate, licensing, and diligence across all areas of technology.
