Karen E. Gover, PhD
Overview
Karen Gover focuses her practice on patent and trademark litigation. She aims to make technologically and legally complicated intellectual property cases understandable for clients, juries, and judges. Karen's experience includes drafting litigation pleadings, assisting with depositions, working with expert witnesses to develop and refine witness reports, and legal research and analysis. She has a robust pro bono practice that focuses on advising non-profit organizations as to the scope and protectability of their intellectual property.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Karen practiced at an Am Law 100 firm.
While in law school, Karen served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rachel P. Kovner of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She was also a member of the Harvard Cyberlaw Clinic and a staff editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology.
Prior to beginning her law career, Karen served as a college professor for more than a decade.
