Nicole Jones
Overview
Nicole Jones focuses her practice on a wide range of trademark and copyright issues across many settings, including trademark prosecution, federal court litigation, and corporate transactions. She manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, advising clients on brand protection, clearance, enforcement, and long-term trademark strategy. She also represents clients in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings.
In addition to prosecution work, Nicole has deep experience in copyright litigation and counseling and previously served as a law clerk to the Copyright Claims Board at the United States Copyright Office. Among her copyright interests, she is particularly interested in counseling clients on the legal questions surrounding font creation and development. Beyond copyright, Nicole has litigated trade secret and trade dress matters in federal courts and has managed many aspects of civil litigation, including discovery, forensic investigations, deposition preparation, and drafting dispositive motions.
Prior to joining the firm, Nicole practiced at an Am Law 100 firm.
Nicole maintains an active pro bono practice focused on legal advocacy for veterans. She has represented veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs, securing increased disability benefits.
Interests
Outside of her legal practice, Nicole is a dedicated advocate for autoimmune disease and dysautonomia awareness.
