Robin Lindemann, PhD
Overview
Robin Lindemann assists the firm in patent prosecution in areas related to chemistry and materials science. With a background in materials science, materials engineering, and mathematics, Robin utilizes his technical experience when working with clients. Robin’s experience includes assisting with application drafting, office action responses, patentability searching, and freedom-to-operate searching.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Robin was conferred his PhD in Materials Science from MIT, where he focused his research on the role of dynamic behavior in the function of peptides, proteins, and self-assembling materials. His knowledge also spans the areas of mass spectrometry, magnetic resonance, X-ray and light scattering, surface characterization, light spectroscopy, electron microscopy, solid state peptide synthesis, radical/condensation polymerization techniques, thin-film electronics, electronic polymers, purification/workup techniques including HPLC, TLC, and flash chromatography.
In addition, Robin worked as a graduate fellow at MIT, where he helped synthesize and purify spin-labeled peptides for spectroscopic measurement and cell-binding assays, collected and fit electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements of spin-labeled peptides to determine dynamic behavior, and synthesized and studied self-assembly behavior of novel self-assembling aramid amphiphiles designed to provide extraordinary mechanical strength.
