We are actively recruiting for the following position(s):

  • Chemical and Materials Technology Associate. We are seeking a patent prosecution attorney to join our Chemical and Material Technologies Group.  Qualified applications will have an advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field of study, be a member of the patent bar and have patent drafting and prosecution experience.  Candidates must have strong academic credentials, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Post-Grant Associate. We are seeking an intellectual property attorney to join our Post-Grant practice group.  Qualified applicants will have at least 2-3 years of experience with post-grant contested matters before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board.  A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or a related field of study is preferred.  Applicants must either be admitted to practice before the USPTO or otherwise qualified to practice before the USPTO. 

    About the practice group: the Post-Grant group is comprised of 37 practitioners drawn from litigation and all of our technical practice groups and a dedicated support staff.  Group differentiators include our technical strength, our extensive experience with these highly specialized proceedings and an unparalleled track record of success.  A recent report by research firm Patexia ranked Wolf Greenfield in the top 25 best performing firms and the top 50 most active law firms in IPR proceedings.  Representative group clients include Google, Sony, Dell EMC, RPX and Smith & Nephew.
  • Trademark Associate. We are seeking an attorney to join our Trademark and Copyright group.  Qualified applicants will have 2-4 years of experience in trademark matters, including domestic and international clearance, prosecution and enforcement, as well as experience in managing a global trademark portfolio.  The position will also involve drafting motions and other pleadings for the TTAB and Federal Court.  Previous experience in preparing and responding to cease and desist letters and handling other enforcement matters is preferred.  Excellent writing skills, strong academic credentials and strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.  An interest in public presentation, writing articles and active marketing and business development acumen are required.
