Wolf Greenfield Celebrates 14th Consecutive Jack Ward Cup Award and $150,000+ in GBLS Fundraising

Wolf Greenfield is proud to announce the completion of another exceptional fundraising campaign for the Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) Associates Fund Drive. Working alongside more than 45 Boston-area law firms, the Wolf Greenfield team once again rallied to support GBLS’s mission, which provides vital, free legal aid to low-income families and survivors of domestic violence.

This year, Wolf Greenfield raised over $150,000 for GBLS—a remarkable achievement made possible by 100% participation from every associate, patent agent, and technology specialist in the Boston office, with many shareholders, counsel, and colleagues based outside of Boston also contributing generously. The firm’s matching contributions further amplified the collective impact.

This year’s internal fundraising efforts were co-captained by Arden Bonzo and Harrison Shecter, while Charlotte Stewart-Sloan served as co-chair of the wider Associates Fund Drive, helping to ensure the Drive’s overall success. Shareholder engagement was spearheaded by Stuart Duncan Smith, who oversaw the coordination of the Wolf Greenfield shareholder matching contributions.

For the 14th consecutive year, Wolf Greenfield was awarded the Jack Ward Cup, which recognizes the firm that contributed the most to the GBLS Associates Fund Drive. Wolf Greenfield remains the only firm in the Drive’s history to have ever received this honor—a distinction that speaks to the firm’s longstanding and unwavering commitment to pro bono work in Boston.

Year after year, I’m inspired by the generosity and commitment our colleagues bring to this drive. GBLS does extraordinary work for people who have nowhere else to turn—and this result is a true testament to Wolf Greenfield’s dedication to pro bono work in Boston,” said Stuart Duncan Smith. “I’m grateful that we continue to stand so firmly behind that mission, and that our contributions will help so many members of our community who would otherwise be unable to obtain representation.”

All funds raised from the campaign will directly support the GBLS Family Law Unit and its critical work providing free civil legal aid to low-income individuals and families across the Greater Boston area.
